Natural gemstones and handmade metal need a little gentleness. Follow these tips so the blue light stays with you longer.
Everyday wear
- Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or sport; avoid prolonged contact with water, sweat, and chemicals (perfume, sunscreen, cleaners).
- Remove longer necklaces/pendants when dressing or undressing to reduce snagging.
- Natural stones vary in hardness and toughness — avoid hard knocks or drops.
Cleaning
- Gently wipe dust and oils with a soft dry cloth.
- If needed, lightly wipe with a barely damp soft cloth and dry immediately; avoid soaking, ultrasonic cleaning, or harsh chemicals.
- Do not soak strung bead pieces for long periods — cord may loosen or discolour.
Storage
- Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or box to avoid scratching.
- Keep away from heat, direct sun, and humidity.
Natural character
Aquamarine, moonstone, iolite, topaz and other natural gems carry unique mineral marks, inclusions, and colour variation — that is each stone’s story, not a defect.
